Vaurelle

Journeys that already know you.

Vaurelle is a private planning studio for luxury travel advisors. It keeps a living portrait of every client and household, lets the advisor compose a journey chapter by chapter with a reason behind every choice, and turns it into an editorial proposal the family reads, approves and then travels with.

The Challenge

A family spending $150,000 on eleven nights in Japan should feel that someone knows them. Instead, what their advisor knows lives in five tools and in her head, the proposal arrives as a 14-page Word export, approval comes as “looks good!” in an email thread, and every revision buries the reason a choice was made.

The challenge was to make an advisor’s best instinct, knowing the client, durable and visible: in the way she composes a trip, in the proposal the family reads and in the journey they take.

Our Solution

We designed Vaurelle around the Why Thread: every element of a journey carries a short, advisor-written reason anchored to something real in the client’s portrait. The portrait sits at the centre, the composer treats a trip as chapters instead of rows, and the proposal reads like a letter the family can annotate, approve and travel with.

Starting From the Portrait

We built the client portrait like a magazine profile, not a CRM record: preferences grouped by feeling, a facet for every traveller, a travel timeline and the small things worth remembering. Everything else reads from it.

A Reason Behind Every Choice

In the composer a trip is a storyboard of chapters and days. Selecting a moment brings up the portrait facts behind it, and the advisor writes one line: why this, for them. Harmony flags show where the family differs.

A Proposal That Reads Like a Letter

The family opens a cover, not a quote. Each chapter shows the moment with the advisor’s reason in the margin, questions sit next to what they are about, and approval is three calm steps with one moment of ceremony.

The Same Space for the Trip

Once approved, the proposal becomes the journey: now and next on the phone, documents offline and a human note when plans change. A two-minute debrief after the trip makes the next portrait sharper.
